One Touch Ultra
Glucometer is the latest meter from LifeScan and replaces
all their existing meters. The great thing about this particular
meter is that it can be used to test via the fingers or the
arm. Testing via the arm can be less painful, but possibly
less accurate, so it is important to follow the instructions,
and discuss thisoption with your doctor before relying on
the readings.
The One Touch Ultra Glucometer
requires the OneTouch
Ultra Test Strips and uses the new OneTouch
Ultra soft lancets which are designed to be less painful
then other lancets. LifeScan state that with One
Touch Ultra Glucometer you only need a tiny drop of blood
to produce accurate results. The Lifescan test strips are
designed to automatically pull blood into test strip, making
testing easier.
The blood glucose monitoring meter has a large
easy-to read display and automatic 14 and 30-day averaging.
The One Touch Ultra Glucometer
boasts of a 150-test memory with date and time. The meter
measures in mmol/L
